Car rental terms and conditions

First: The Foundations of Leasing

1. The minimum rent is one day (24 hours).
2. The duration of the contract may be extended with the consent of the lessor and the lessee to specify in the contract the procedures for doing so.

4. In the event that an extension of the contract is not requested by the lessee or that the business does not agree to an extension, the lessee shall incur costs additional to the excess duration of the contract and until the vehicle is returned or recovered from the business, equal to 100% (100 per cent) of the daily rental value if the lease exceeds four hours in addition to the rental costs agreed upon by the contract.
5. Any modification of the contract by the lessee or lessor after its signature may be made only with the consent and adoption of both parties.

Second: Obligations of the lessor:

Approves and undertakes to commit to:

1. The viability and safety of the vehicle.
2. In the event of any technical defect in the car that is not due to default or negligence by the tenant, it is replaced by a car of the same class. In the absence of such a car, it is replaced by a car of the higher category.
3. The lease contract is suspended when a car accident is reported and the lessee is obliged to return the car where the contract was signed within 24 hours of the date of the accident.
4. Receipt of the vehicle on which an accident occurred immediately to be reported, with the date and time of notification of the incident being the end of the lease contract.

Third: Tenant's Obligations:

The lessee acknowledges and undertakes to comply with the following:

1. The car
   1. That the car is complete and its components, including tires, engine, tools, equipment, and documents belonging to the lessor.
   2. That the car was rented to him to use for his personal transportation.
   3. That he has no right to make any modifications to the car and its equipment, including tampering with the odometer (kilometer).
   4. He has made sure that the car is suitable for use. That the fuels and oils specified by the lessor in the contract be used while the vehicle is in operation.
   5. A fine (15,000 riyals) only (fifteen thousand riyals) only for drifting the car.
   6. In the event of tampering with the odometer (kilometer), the tenant will pay a fine of (5,000 riyals) only (five thousand riyals).
   7. In the event that an accident occurs on the car and the tenant does not bring a correct report of the accident, the price of spare parts (agency) is according to estimates.
2. Return the car:

   Return the car on site, and the date and time specified in the contract and any extension thereof, and to be in the same operational condition in which it was received, taking into account the normal consumption throughout the period of its stay with him.

3. Restoration of the car:

   That the lessor's right to restore or stop the car by the competent authority, and the tenant's account, and without any prior notice from the lessor in the following cases:

   1. Failure to return the vehicle at the specified date and time.
   2. Using the vehicle in violation of the terms of the contract.
   3. If it turns out that the tenant has provided incorrect information at the time of rent the car.
4. Drivers:

   The authorized to drive the vehicle are:

   1. The lessee if he holds a driving license that qualifies him to drive the car.
   2. The person or persons authorized by the renter and who hold driving licenses that qualify them to drive the vehicle, and their data is recorded in the contract.
   3. Employees of the competent authorities in emergency situations.
5. Terms of Use:

   The vehicle or any of its components may not be used in the following cases:

   1. By persons not authorized under the contract to drive a vehicle.
   2. If the car needs repair.
   3. If the operation causes damage to the engine of the car or one of its components.
   4. Transport of persons or goods for a fee.
   5. Sign up for motor racing.
   6. Push or pull other cars.
   7. Careless use of the car.
   8. If the driver authorized under the contract is able to drive the vehicle, he was under the influence of intoxicating or narcotic substances or suffers from a health reason that prevents him from driving properly.
   9. Towing a trailer without the lessor's consent.
   10. leaseback.
   11. For purposes contrary to public morals and the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
   12. Outside the geographical boundaries of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia unless agreed upon in the contract.
6. Leaving the car:
   1. Do not leave the car and the ignition key on it.
   2. In the event of an accident to the car or the fault of the renter, he bears the deductible determined by the car insurance policy.
7. Reporting accidents and impounding the vehicle:
   1. Notify the lessor as soon as the vehicle is seized by the competent authorities for any reason.
8. Rental costs:

   Bear the following costs:

   1. Car rental costs throughout the rental period and any extension thereof as stated in the contract texts.
   2. The kilometer costs in excess of what is permitted in the contract.
   3. The value of fuel, water and tire filling during the rental period.
   4. The costs involved in misusing the vehicle.
   5. Costs of violating regulations.
   6. Repair costs for modifications to the vehicle made by the renter.
   7. The fare for the public parking used.
   8. The costs incurred in the loss, replacement or tampering of any of the vehicle’s parts and equipment.
   9. The costs incurred in delaying the delivery of the vehicle at the specified date and time and according to the price category specified in the contract, including the coverage of accident costs according to the bases mentioned in the contract.
   10. The tenant shall bear the administrative and judicial expenses resulting from delay or from what is required in the payment of the due upon the liquidation of the lease contract.
9. Sudden car malfunctions:

   Returning the rented car if it needs repair as a result of a sudden malfunction, or notifying it if it is unfit to drive so that the lessor undertakes to restore it. In both cases, the lessee undertakes not to make any repairs on it without the consent of the lessor

10. Violations of regulations and instructions:
    1. Traffic violations caused by the driver.
    2. Any other violations resulting from misusing the vehicle or using it for illegal purposes.
    3. The renter bears full responsibility for leaving any belongings in the car.
